Question:
If slow moving planets 'win' what does that determine, which qualities
are 'enhanced', does the loser uplift the winner, or does the winner
outright overwrite it's powers? that is confusing, I don't understand
how this part works, which is complicating me figuring out how the
aspects in my natal chart are affecting the planetary effects in the
various houses..
also..
Do the outer planets have some kind of 'divine' connection, I've heard
that the planets added later in the centuries were associated with
direct influence of the divine powers on our lives.
Answer:
Your chart and its aspects determine which transit is felt most deeply
or not. I say "the slower planet wins" ... think glacier. A glacier
moves slow but grinds everything in its path. When I look at transits I
look at the slower moving planets first to see what glacial action is
grinding what part of the psyche down to rubble.
Pluto transits are usually the slowest and transform an entire
generation.
But nothing is slower than retrograde planets that are stationary just
before going direct. Stop stock still is slower than anything.
Any natal planet that is aspected by transiting Venus and Jupiter as
they station before going direct tomorrow will feel it the most.
Transiting Jupiter, as of 11/10/10...
squares your Sun
trines your Mercury
squares your Venus
trines your Saturn
squares your Uranus
squares your Neptune
That transit date is the last time I printed up your chart, things might
have change a little...
So how do all those Transiting Jupiter transits effect you?
Google "Jupiter Square Uranus transit" and find out.
Ok, picture if you will your natal planets being brass bells. The bells
are connected by a wire - your aspects between your natal planets. The
transiting planets go by with hammers of various sizes and material - a
ballpeen hammer vs a rubber hammer a doctor uses on your knee. The
difference in size and make up of the hammer is a conjunction, sextile,
trine, opposition, etc the transiting planet will make to your natal
planet.
Transiting Jupiter goes by, swings the metal hammer of a square, strikes
your natal Uranus and it RINGS ... Klllangggg and it vibrates the wire
that are you natal aspects to your Uranus... conjunct your Sun, sextile
your Mars... setting them to vibrate.
That's how transiting planets touch our natal planets, stimulating
existing natal aspects that we carry around like default switches in our
psyche.
When we know our chart - by heart, understand the planets, signs, houses
and aspects... then and only then do the transits make sense. You will
be able to see a transit coming down the pike...like your first Saturn
return that's coming up in a few years and you can prepare for it.
As for outer planets ... everything from Sun, Moon ...to Jupiter are
individual planets, in that they make up our individual nature. Saturn
on out are generational planets, since they move so slowly they effect
whole generations. As for Divine... I don't even use that word, smacks
too much of church dogma.
How can any of the astrological bodies not be divine? How can we not be
divine? We are made of star garbage, the left overs of super novae. We
have as much complexity within our skin as the sky has with billions of
swirling galaxies. No the word divine does not work for me.
The later planets discovered after Saturn represent those things the
ancients could never conceive of. How could the ancients dream of
electricity harnessed and in every home? By the time Uranus came along
electricity needed a ruler. When Pluto was discovered the atom was being
split, ergo, Pluto rules atomic power. Neptune's discovery in 1846 the
chemical properties of protein were being discovered, ergo Neptune rules
chemicals. Look to the date those outer planets were discovered then
look to see what was going on during that time and you'll see the secret
of those planets. |
