Im proud of that lol mazutwo: me too norajean_sf: Now my questions to you. norajean_sf: How do men's bodies differ from females? donnarae44: ment to tell you all. my daughter was so happy with her clay box donnarae44: their brain is smaller clayladyinred: ROFLMAO posey4u: more muscular mazutwo: larger muscle mass norajean_sf: How are we going to distribute the muscle mass to make this body look like a man, since we can't read his mind. LOL donnarae44: and in a different place norajean_sf: where is there more muscles? norajean_sf: where though? posey4u: smaller butt clayladyinred: bigger shoulders posey4u: arms norajean_sf: ok, smaller butt, do they have the same hips? clayladyinred: thighs norajean_sf: or waist? posey4u: no norajean_sf: are our backs as muscular as a man's? posey4u: no norajean_sf: me and my husband don't count norajean_sf: LOL clayladyinred: LOL mazutwo: biceps triceps and thay have hopefully flat abs norajean_sf: for I out weigh him and can carry him around to his chagrin. clayladyinred: darn, thought we could get James to model ;-) donnarae44: men should have teeny tiny heads norajean_sf: look at what we have there already, that's James norajean_sf: he is Jack Sprat and I'm his wife. clayladyinred: LOL silly NJ! donnarae44: rofl norajean_sf: Oh you don't know how true that is. mazutwo: join the club NJ norajean_sf: Ok, so let's start by cutting out leaf shapes in different sizes and slapping it on this body to form a man. norajean_sf: in a Ken Doll sort of way, that is. mazutwo: plastic look in the mirror and flirt with himself man clayladyinred: It's raining me... halleluyah!!! LOL clayladyinred: should be Men!! duh LOL norajean_sf: It's raining you? clayladyinred: LOL shhhhhh... you didn't see that! norajean_sf: Sculpt/RainingMen/Index norajean_sf: I have a section named "It's Raining Men" norajean_sf: focusing on male figures clayladyinred: cool! donnarae44: I'v had all the rain i can stand lol clayladyinred: ;-) mazutwo: brb have to run out for a min not leaving the conference clayladyinred: ok mazutwo: back clayladyinred: wb! donnarae44: phone bb huntmommy: my dd made a picnic for us, I better go enjoy it huntmommy: thank you NJ so much for lettign me sit in for a bit huntmommy has left the conference. norajean_sf: It's a guy clayladyinred: neat! clayladyinred: everyone must have been enthralled! norajean_sf: Now I think I could add some abs norajean_sf: and beef up his legs some what clayladyinred: looks like he should be a wrestler :-) norajean_sf: so that's the leaf shape muscle trick clayladyinred: it amazes me how you do that so fast! norajean_sf: http://www.norajean.com/New_Projects/ManAndBeast/AnatoMan/Index.htm norajean_sf: with some smoothing and definition he can look like this dude norajean_sf: well this part of the process doesn't need to take a long time clayladyinred: I think I try to make it perfect too soon norajean_sf: what takes time, I think, is studying the anatomy and then picking the size of the leaf shapes. clayladyinred: that makes sense clayladyinred: when did you do the man on that page? norajean_sf: leave yourself room for the rough draft stage, where we're just getting the clay mass to where we need it to be, then go over it to smooth and give definition. mazutwo: Nj could I please have the site for a femake body also thanks Maz clayladyinred: I'll have to work on that norajean_sf: This guy? Ya know... I did reorg for the holidays and I can't find him now. clayladyinred: LOL norajean_sf: http://www.norajean.com/10-07-05-OnMyTable.htm norajean_sf: The lady who was made at the same time turn into the Lady with the Pot. norajean_sf: there's various examples of making lady's bodies. Let me get a few links. clayladyinred: cool norajean_sf: Sculpt/MayDoll-2002/Group mazutwo: ok thanks i will bookmark it for reference. may I print it norajean_sf: Obachan-grp norajean_sf: Sure you can print them out Maz norajean_sf: they are there for your use norajean_sf: Doll-Tisha-Grp mazutwo: a whole book of NJ's expiditions in clay beadyeyedbrat has left the conference. clayladyinred: we keep trying to talk her into publishing a book norajean_sf: http://www.norajean.com/New_Projects/Josana/Index.htm mazutwo: yes it would be good idea clayladyinred: I love Tisha NJ norajean_sf: James named her mazutwo: you know what is on her site would be alot of books clayladyinred: how sweet! clayladyinred: very true Maz norajean_sf: Now some of the figures on my site just show after clay fabric was applied. norajean_sf: But all the bodies have the aluminum foil armature in them clayladyinred: does it seem to always work out right to have the leg and torso foils start from the same length? norajean_sf: The bodies all were bulked up with leaf shapes, just put in different places for men or for women. buffy10207: I've gotta run...thanks NJ for the demo & the help..nite all clayladyinred: bye Buffy buffy10207 has left the conference. mazutwo: bye norajean_sf: seems to work, quite by accident. Now if folks have those really wide aluminum foil rolls, then one might have to cut some off of the ends norajean_sf: or have Alice the Goon norajean_sf: LOL norajean_sf: that is still cracking me up clayladyinred: LOL norajean_sf: but arms should end at upper thigh, bend at the waist mazutwo: i have to look up alice the goon norajean_sf: feet are usually the length of the forearm clayladyinred: hmmmm.... good thing to remember norajean_sf: there's little tricks like that to sort out where things should bend or how big they should be, but honestly, if you use your eyes, you're the best judge. norajean_sf: Just don't be afraid to remove stuff that doesn't look right. norajean_sf: and keep on adding stuff until it does look right. We've seen so many bodies in our lives. norajean_sf: We look at faces each day clayladyinred: I'm always collecting pictures of people :-) norajean_sf: it's a matter of translating what we see into clay by addition or subtraction of clay. That's pretty much the trick of it. norajean_sf: I'm always looking at folks when I'm out and about, creeps people out clayladyinred: LOL norajean_sf: I had to stop sketching people on the bus at while waiting in line because that really creeps them out. mazutwo: practice practice practice smoosh when needed clayladyinred: too funny norajean_sf: So it's been 7 hours for me, if there aren't any questions I think we'll wind this up. I have the logs to put onto pages still. norajean_sf: and pluck out eyes if they offend thee clayladyinred: I really want to try some BBW figures :-) norajean_sf: Then you got to go for it mazutwo: that's better than telling them their life story that really sends them off clayladyinred: can't think of anything NJ.... thanks so much for the demo... it was just what the dr ordered! norajean_sf: collecting pictures of BBWs in the buff shouldn't be difficult. clayladyinred: LOL too true norajean_sf: I'm glad you were able to attend and help out with screen shots. clayladyinred: could just take home photos for that....LOL posey4u: thanks NJ for everything what time tomorrow will you be on norajean_sf: That's what I did. clayladyinred: me too! as always, it was my pleasure! clayladyinred: LOL mazutwo: i have book by some lady in holland of big women sculpted in paperclay it would be helpful norajean_sf: It was my pleasure.
