Variegated acrylic 4 ply.
With a brim that ripples. Good to keep the head warm and the sun out of the eyes.
Black acrylic with black loop yarn mix. Acrylic white trim.
I made this for my mother's birthday. She turned 80. It fit and she's happy with it.
Both of these yarns came to me without a lable. I think they are acrylic but had a wool feel.
Hat with brim, the head band is sewn down.
Fuzzy pale cream yarn that I believe is acrylic, but without a lable I have no idea. Soft to the touch.
This had can be worn this way or pulled down tight on the head.
Brown and Black chenille. Soft soft soft, and warm.
Cloche type of hat, goes over the ears and below the eyebrow.
Cream and Black chenille, another soft to the touch hat.
It fits close to the head so not that good if you sport an afro.
Soft cream baby yarn with a novelty vareigated yarn that's scratchy. The soft part touches the face and ears.
This came out smallish. It's with my mother right now because she's undecided as to whether she'll keep it.
Scratchy wool with a soft fuzzy angora. The fuzz made the wool soft to the touch. The wool made the angora have body.
Another small sized hat. Not for our big headed friends.
This is the hat with the brim pulled all the way down.
This is the same hat with the brim folded up. I think the top is cotton and the bottom acrylic. No lables so I don't know for sure.
Back up shot of the same hat as the two pictures before.
Pale cream, soft to the touch, acrylic... I think.
Another way to wear the hat in the last picture. Different isn't it?
Look close and you'll see the blue yarn under the lavender and the lavender yarn under the blue yarn. The design is made by hiding colors w/the stitch
The swirl in the design just happens on its own.
The yarn on the band is thin and softer than the yarn in the main part of the hat.
There is an overlap of the yarns around the side and then ends with the gold string on blue on the band. That's it for now.
