It takes longer to pull the eyelash yarn from the inside to the outside than to make the whole hat.

I have not pulled the eyelash yarn from the inside to the outside so I had to find a place to photograph that didn't have bald spots.

Beige wool with a light brown chenille band. This is big, covers my ears and I have to turn my nose up to see past the brim's edge.

That chenille makes all the difference. It's so soft against the ears and face.

This is very warm and ever so soft.

This was a very interesting novelty yarn that went from thin string to clumps of fiber. The close up shows the colors.

Looks like a Scottish moor. I made sure that the lumpy bits were on the outside. It felt like cotton, but no label so I don't know.

Cotton, black and white variegated yarn. Men or women can wear this hat.

Has a nice feel to it. It's got heft but isn't at all scratchy.

I think next time I'm going to do some "open" designs with this thin cotton string.

My third son, Tosh, took this one. He pulled it down on his head and flipped up the band. Off he went into the cold night.

My girlfriend said I looked like an evil Leprechaun in this hat. It's not the hat, that's just me.

Same as the Forest Green Beanie, just with a brim that you can roll up if you want.

One of my brim hats but done in a color that's not usually associated with me. Bright pink with cranberry trim.

It's a fun hat for someone with enough character to wear it. Never wear a hat that has more character than you. Yup.
