I had the softest yellow yarn used for baby clothes. Both together gave structure to the hat.
The next 4 pictures are of the same hat. The top flat part has two yarns. A stiff 4 ply cream and the eyelash yarn.
You can wear the hat with the disk towards the back or like this towards the front.
You can wear the disk to the side. The top is stiff and the sides flexible.

Under the blue eyelash yarn is a 4 ply forest green acrylic yarn. The 4 ply gives the hat structure and the blue dark roots.

This loopy yarn is very soft to the touch. It has white, cream, brown, two shades of blue. This hat begs to be worn on the side of the head.
